for long long queue for table. HATE to dine there again.
My mom suggested we go the place for dinner, and is Mothers' Day,
so WE GO!! I see the food are nothing special, totally not worth
to wait. Is just that it is recommended by "Ho-Chiak" (one of the
local TV hosted programme).
Lately, i felt that Ho-Chiak and some others are really lack in
quality of making recommendations. Many patrons to the restaurant
are having the same thought too. I think the restaurant will be
doing the "one-time" business only. :)
And there is another restaurant few doors away (Gao Ren Guan 高人馆),
this restaurant is much better. the servings is good, but the long
queue is really irritating. Most of the patrons to this restaurant
(Gao Ren Guan) are usually the over-flow from Taiping-Lang Restaurant.
Anyway, it is my comments. No big deal, ok?
Oh ya, maybe I should comment something about food in general
here. How can we judge the food initially before actually tasting
them? Not tricky at all, right?
Simple...first is the SMELL, once the food is being cook, we should
able to smell the fragrance of the ingridients all the way from
kitchen (I don't know about you, but my mom's cooking can be smell
from kitchen till few doors away). second only will be the LOOK, as
how the food being prepared and presented.
Taiping Lang Restaurant - Not in my Makan-list.
But when i was in that restaurant (Taiping Lang), i don't smell
anything on the food...even till the food being served on my table.
Oh!! The look was okay. But no smell...so my sense telling my brain,
the food is just so so...just for you to fill up your stomach...so
just keep quiet and eat.
Hahaha...go and try....then share your comments here.
p/s: the restaurant is located opposite of Puchong IOI Mall.
deep inside those shops (near the ex-Zhong Wah Lau Restaurant's location).
