My Boring Sunday with Nokia xm5800

hmm... i think it will be another boring Sunday for me. what to do? what to do? where are my friends? do i have friends? do i have plans? Oh My God... i m feeling like Will Smith in the movie "The Legend" (except that he got the freedom that i don't ever have...).

actually i have many things to do, but i m just too lazy to work it out. is SUNDAY!! for god-sake!! and something came to my mind. since someone mentioned to me about going to Morib and Sepang Gold Coast, why not i go there myself? hmm... sounded great. i get my butt off the bed and took a shower, i then walked down to the kitchen, and my mom have cooked porridge for lunch. i take some of it and drive out blindly.

above: my Nokia xm5800, is a phone, camera, GPS, radio, mp3 player, web browser, blogging tool, instant-messenger (msn), facebook, calender, personal assistant, reminder... etc.

today, my Nokia xm5800 will be my buddy. it is actually nice to be alone. i first set my GPS to today's destination - Morib Beach. it is about 34km away from my living place.

above: set my time, and get ready to go.

above: did a round check-up of my car, fuel is up. spare phone is ready. sun-glasses ready.

many nice scenary, and unusual scene on the journey. too bad that i cannot stop over my car to take some of the shots (the road are too narrow, without shoulder). yet i m speeding average at 80km/h while tuned to the Lite FM 105.7fm HAHAHAH!!! (i am a safe-driver).

above: Paya Indah Wetlands? what is that?? sounded like a Lagoon or "Mimaland" to me.

at the half way journey to Morib, somewhere in the Kampung (Malaysian village) area, i saw the big signboard "Paya Indah Wetlands". what the heck is that? doesn't look new to me... but how come like no one in Malaysia ever mention about this place? let's go see see...and explore

above: main entrace, you can see a security booth there, some logo...and our "tigers" badge is also there.

above: the main building.

i drive in and go ask the security guard at the booth. he is like the usual Malaysian guard... very blur. i ask him what is inside? is it free admission? is it newly open? for public?

he replied with many uncertainty in his over-heated brain, it is for public, free, inside to see animals, already almost one and half years.

wow!! it is so isolated. the place is so quiet. only 6 person is in there. there is a large lake and 3 blocks of chalet. many parking space, even have parking space for buses. i think it is another "waste of money" project. NO ONE IS THERE!! do u ever heard of this place? Hahaha :D

above: nice and "no-body"

above: i saw this pink-colored Perodua Kancil that are full with Hello-Kitty theme, see carefully...even the exhaust muffler is the shape of Hello-Kitty's head.

i then continue my journey, left turn, right turn, left turn again, another right turn. i started to think how reliable can be my GPS. hahaha... anyway, it never failed to me yet (so far).

finally, i have arrived at the Morib beach. Yeah! Yeah!

above: Beach side car parking space. not many people today.

above: many hawker stalls at beach side selling drinks, food, and snacks. (got keropok lekor... one of my favourite)

(glossary: keropok lekor is fish paste that looked alike the sausage that have sliced into ultra thin slices. deep fried into crisy.)

above: i don't understand, but i believe is about some history and some heroes. let's check the wikipedia later. (see so many numbers...i also blur already)

above: the Morib beach at noon... (is low-tide).

above: never bring my slippers...cannot go down there.

above: it is definately a good place for flying kites.

above: the sky are so cloudy and beautiful.

above: some people even camp here.

above: some picnic, some reading...is a good place for family hang-out.

above: many stalls are selling kites. so colorful.

above: opss...the blue is here too. where's the yellow-man?? Ah Boon, where r u??
(i will follow you... almost) Hahaha!!

above: too many, which to choose?

above: family are here, friends gathering, couples are also here... simply a perfect place. hehe :)

above: parents are guiding/coaching their kids...how to fly kite.
(so they will not fly "kite" to their friends when they grown up)

above: wow! i found the Star-Trek's base!! ...hahaha :) this building is really have the "sci-fi" feel.

above: opss...is not the Star Trek's base. is the Syrian Church. ??

i then back to Subang Jaya for my favourite meal... SUBWAY. had the terrriyaki chicken, which is on offer on every Sundays for RM7.50 only. plus a drink....for total of RM10. mama-mia!!

above: Subway @ SS15, Subang Jaya.

i then upload the photo to my blog, while i m enjoying my bites of delicious sandwich. hmm... is not bad to be alone, you got all the freedom, flexibility, and you really can "enjoy" your life.

don't believe me? ask your parents...or ask your friend that have married with kids. hahaha!!

(what should i do for the coming Sunday? ... will see then)

p/s: all photo taken with Nokia xm5800. and uploaded with Nokia xm5800 via Maxis 3G Boardband.
