Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan (a.k.a Cape Rachado) is the light house that located at the border of Malacca (Melaka) and Negeri Sembilan (Port Dickson). The funny thing here is that inorder to visit this light house, you have to come to Port Dickson. Hahaha...
My dad's malay language just got improve too. he asked why this light house is called "rumah api" and where is the fire? or is the house being on-fire??
he suggested the malay term got to change from "rumah api" to "rumah cahaya" (or "rumah lampu"). Hmm... sounded correct !! Dewan Pustaka, i think you all really got to revise this malay term carefully again.
as the "light" here is really the "cahaya" or the "lampu" instead of "api". don't-lah simply translate, and making people more confuse.
the above photo showing the coaster border line marking. it is very important.
to reach to the light house, you have to park your car at the Ilham Resort and walk up hill of approximately 900 meter. (no driving are allowed).
