Travel: Bidoh - Penang - Kedah (Part 03/03)

From Penang Bridge, we make a left turning to goto Alor Setar. We wanted to goto the Paddy Museum (Muzium Padi). I have been there for 2 times already. For this time, it is specially for my cousins.

Paddy Museum is located at Gunung Keriang. For your information, they are closed on Friday (Sundays open).

On the way to Gunung Keriang, we saw some farmers are working hard under the hot sun.

Nothing much to see in this museum, honestly. People usually come for the giant-size wall mural art drawn by a few Korean. It is a rounded piece of continuous drawing on the building's wall (the building is round in shape)...it is so lively. I do not take any photo of the piece of drawing, as the camera got to pay a ticket too. and i believe you will be able to search the photo form Google.

Another interesting part is we will be standing on a revolving platform at the center of the building to enjoy the piece of drawing.

Travel: Bidor - Penang - Kedah (Part 01/03)

Stress! Stress! Under Pressure!! It's time for a relief + makan trip. This time I am travelling with my uncle family and my family...come to a total of 12 of us. Hmm...we got to go with two MPV cars.

We depart early at 6:00am, as it is a public holiday, trying to avoid traffic jam as well as over-crowded restaurants. We first arrived at Bidor, a small town of Perak state. This small town is famous with the wife-biscuits (Low Poh P'eng) and little-chick-biscuits (Kai-Chai-P'eng). From our previous visit about 10 years ago, we also got to know a restaurant that is famous with their food.

But when we arrived there, it was already packed with lots of tourists. We don't want to wait for the long queue, and we headed to the next door which has less people.

This restaurant is clean and nice that serve Wan Tan Mee (Fine Noodles serves with Meat Dumpling and Slices of BBQ Pork). Not bad, not bad.

Do give it a try when you are at Bidor. Simple direction, turn LEFT after the toll, when you reach a "Y" junction, follow the RIGHT way, and the shop is on your RIGHT side. Sorry, I forgot to take the photo of the shop front.
