Travel: Bidor - Penang - Kedah (Part 01/03)

Stress! Stress! Under Pressure!! It's time for a relief + makan trip. This time I am travelling with my uncle family and my family...come to a total of 12 of us. Hmm...we got to go with two MPV cars.

We depart early at 6:00am, as it is a public holiday, trying to avoid traffic jam as well as over-crowded restaurants. We first arrived at Bidor, a small town of Perak state. This small town is famous with the wife-biscuits (Low Poh P'eng) and little-chick-biscuits (Kai-Chai-P'eng). From our previous visit about 10 years ago, we also got to know a restaurant that is famous with their food.

But when we arrived there, it was already packed with lots of tourists. We don't want to wait for the long queue, and we headed to the next door which has less people.

This restaurant is clean and nice that serve Wan Tan Mee (Fine Noodles serves with Meat Dumpling and Slices of BBQ Pork). Not bad, not bad.

Do give it a try when you are at Bidor. Simple direction, turn LEFT after the toll, when you reach a "Y" junction, follow the RIGHT way, and the shop is on your RIGHT side. Sorry, I forgot to take the photo of the shop front.

The Business / War of Chinese Hawker Stalls in Malaysia.

As for the people that know me, i do love hawker food. they are delicious, portion is large, price are reasonable. and you really can enjoy yourself, as really can "being yourself" at hawker stall.
(provided the place is clean, and easy on car-park space)

but one thing that i don't like about the (chinese) hawker place. those chinese-ah-pek (chinese uncle) are very selfish, being unreasonable in business. they always like to divided the business place into territory. you are not allowed to bring food or drinks from another corner to that corner. you have to buy their food inorder to sit on their tables.

and thats created war in between the "good business" and the "lousy business" stalls. it is really inconvinience, espeically you are going there in a crowd. all of us might not having the same food.

damn it!!! china-ah-pek, please think widely, open up your mind-lah.
